In Akorda, Kazakhstan President hosted a meeting with the first vice-premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli, Kazpravda.kz reports.
Nursultan Nazarbayev praised the high level of bilateral cooperation in the energy and other areas and thanked the Chinese leader Xi Jinping for the invitation to the international forum "One Belt - One Road".
Zhang Gaoli said that Xi Jinping plans to visit Kazakhstan in June this year to be at the opening of the EXPO-2017 and at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
The PRC Vice Premier expressed support for the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan, stressing the importance of the recently announced initiative of Nursultan Nazarbayev to modernize public consciousness.
Ending the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan thanked the PRC leadership for supporting the ongoing reforms in the country and expressed hope for strengthening trade and economic relations between the two countries.
