Deputy Prime Minister Sevil Shhaideh said Friday, while leaving the offices of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA), that she had been summoned to be informed that she is a suspect in a corruption case.
"I have been informed that I am a suspect in this case. I cannot say more because there is a criminal investigation underway. I was told I am a suspect. I will be using all my rights and looking into the documents together with my lawyer," said Shhaideh.
She did not answer whether or not she would resign if indicted in this case.
