The total number of measles cases recorded in Romania until Friday reached 9,704, according to the Website of the National Institute for Public Health.
A number of 35 people died because of measles. Among the 35, 9 were from Timis County, 6 from Arad, 7 from Dolj, 3 from Caras Severin, and 1 from each of the counties Bihor, Brasov, Cluj, Calarasi, Neamt, Satu Mare, Vaslui, Galati, Mures and Bucharest. Measles cases were recorded in 41 counties.
