Sorin Grindeanu Daniela Carmen Dan Raed Arafat

Interior Affairs Minister Carmen Dan announced on Thursday that there are no more blocked highways or national roads, but a number of 107 trains are canceled and 18 trains have delays of over 60 minutes. "There are no more blocked persons because of the snow. Starting 13:00 hrs there are no blocked highways or national roads. Operations are still carried out on 37 county roads from five counties. All the airports are opened and there are no canceled flights. On four railway lines there are restrictions and 18 trains have delays of over 60 minutes. Moreover, we have 107 canceled trains. All the maritime ports are opened. The traffic through all the border-crossing points on rivers on the Danube is closed because of the ice. There are no border-crossing points on land to be closed. All the malfunctions of the electrical grid were repaired," Dan stated in the beginning of the Government meeting.

The Minister also announced that starting 13 January and until 14 January the Code Yellow for glazed frost will come into force. "Tomorrow, starting 05:00 in the morning until Saturday at 12:00 hrs, we will be entering under the Code Yellow for glazed frost. Mixed precipitations with moderate quantities will occur, also wind and snow will be scattered in mountain regions. This Code Yellow is valid for all the country, except the eight counties and Bucharest, which were very affected in this period," she added.
