"Dare to believe in Romania" ('Indrazneste sa crezi in Romania'), is the slogan that the Social Democrat Party (PSD) will use in the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections, said, on Saturday evening, the chairman of the party, Liviu Dragnea.
He mentioned that the governing program proposed by the PSD was posted on the website indraznestesacrezi.ro, with a chart featuring the economic growth during all post-1989 governing acts also being presented there.
"I, personally, am tired of hearing for years: 'Go and vote so that PSD doesn't come govern, because it's going to be bad'. (...) The same thing is attempted now, the same patented method of manipulation. (...) There is a chart showing that, (...) each time PSD has governed, the people have been well off, the economy has been growing, and Romanians have felt more money in their pockets," said Liviu Dragnea at private broadcaster Antena 3.
Among the main objectives of the PSD, comprised in the electoral program presented on the website are: strengthening the middle class, higher salaries, quality medical services, better education, elimination of 102 non-fiscal taxes, support for farmers, development of infrastructure, reindustrialization and creation of new jobs.
