Romania's Intelligence Service (SRI) has announced it is increasing security at the British Embassy in Bucharest as a standard mandatory procedure in the aftermath of Wednesday's London terror attack.
"This is what we aim to do. We have not necessarily taken additional security measures, but we increased security as a standard mandatory procedure," say SRI officials.
According to reports from Romania's Foreign Ministry (MAE), the latest information from local authorities indicate that two Romanian nationals had been injured in Wednesday's London terror attack and were rushed to hospital for medical care.
Three people, including a police officer, died and at least 20 people were injured in a terror attack before the Houses of Parliament in London, while the attacker was killed, according to the AFP news agency.
