Tennis. Alexandra Cadantu wins Altenkirchen women's doubles title

The pairing of Alexandra Cadantu (Romania) / Cornelia Lister (Sweden) on Sunday won the women's doubles title at the USD-25,000 ITF tournament at Altenkirchen (Germany) defeating Tara Moore (Great Britain) / Conny Perrin (Switzerland) 6-2 3-6 11-9.

Cadantu and Lister, 4th seeded, prevailed in one hour and 21 minutes to the 3rd seeded couple.

In the first round, Cadantu and Lister defeated Anita Husaric (Bosnia) / Dalila Jakupovic (Slovenia) 6-4 3-6 10-4; in the quarters they won against Michaela Honcova (Slovakia) / Jasmina Tinjic (Bosnia) 6-2 6-4, and in the semi-finals Cadantu / Lister beat seed number one Lesley Kerkhove (Netherlands) / An-Sophie Mestach (Belgium) 6-3 7-6 (3)
