Romanian tennis player Mihaela Buzarnescu won the ITF tournament in Toyota (Japan), equipped with total prizes worth 60,000 US dollars, after defeating in the final Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, 6-0, 6-1.
The Romanian also defeated Zidansek in 2015 in the quarterfinals of the ITF tournament in Zawada (Poland 25,000 US dollars), 7-6 (5), 6-4.
While having the best year of her career Buzarnescu lost a single match of the latest 15 played and also won the title in Poitiers (France, 100,000 US dollars) and Toyota and played the final in Tokyo (100,000 US dollars).
She started the year as WTA's 351st and also won the ITF tournaments in Hodmezovasarhely (Hungary, 60.000 US dollars), Izmir (Turkey, 60,000 US dollars), Getxo (Spain, 25,000 US dollars), Versmold (Germany, 60,000 US dollars), Biarritz (80,000 US dollars).
