The 3rd edition of The Dandy Run, a race of elegantly, vintage-clothed cyclists, will be staged on Saturday afternoon in downtown Bucharest.
It starts at 14:00hrs, local, at the Rotenberg - Uzunov Arts Gallery, near the Romanian Athenaeum. One hour later, the racers will start on a route that will take them to - Calea Victoriei - Bulevardul Aviatorilor - Bulevardul Mircea Eliade - Calea Floreasca - and the Agape Cuisine Restaurant, where the race ends with a small party at 16:00hrs, according to organisers.
The cyclists are kindly asked to show up dressed in white/black suits, bowties and berets, vintage vests and shirts, against a black-and-white dress code.
At the end of the race, the best dressed gentleman and the best dressed lady will be rewarded.
Racers whose bicycles are not retro are encouraged to decorate their means of transport as originally as possible, because there will also be a best vintage bicycle and most originally decorated bicycle awards. agerpres.
