Prime Minister Mihai Tudose said on Wednesday that "Trade Winds" is an important event for Romania, given the presence of 100 big American companies that come "to do business". "Tomorrow, an extraordinarily important and awaited event will start, intensively prepared by the Ministry for Business Milieu, 'Trade Winds,' with 100 large American companies coming to Romania not for a courtesy visit or for tourism but for doing business in Romania, that is they come also to stay," Mihai Tudose said at the opening of the Government meeting.
Ilan Laufer, Business Milieu Minister, said "Trade Winds" is the largest event organized by the U.S. State Department for the Internationalization of U.S. companies. "We have over 130 companies that will come in Romania We have also made an unofficial report on U.S. investments in Romania and it seems that they are actually closer to Top 5, we will present this aspect tomorrow. And we are very organized from all points of view," Laufer said.
