16 Afghan migrants attempt to cross border into Hungary hiding in truck

The authorities from the Nadlac II Crossing Point have discovered, in three trucks, which were about to exit the country, 16 Afghani immigrants, asylum seekers in Romanias.

"The border police from the Nadlac II Crossing Point have carried out an extensive search regarding three vehicles, driven by two Bulgarian citizens and one Romanian. The drivers were transporting, according to documents accompanying the freight, various goods for companies from Germany and Austria. While the search was being carried out, inside the cargo hold, hidden among the transported shipment, 16 foreign citizens were discovered," the Arad Border Police informed on Thursday.

Upon preliminary checks, the border police established that all immigrants are from Afghanistan and have ages between 15 and 30, being asylum seekers in Romania.
