33,969 Ukrainians enter Romania Sunday, most at border with R. Moldova

The General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF) informs on Monday morning that on March 6, in a 24-hour interval, at the national level, the border crossing points to Romania saw the entry of 93,270 persons, of whom 33,969 Ukrainian citizens (up 7.4% over the previous day).

Through the border with Ukraine, 10,953 Ukrainian citizens (slight decrease by 0.9%) entered Romania, and 21,121 Ukrainian citizens (increase of 14.9%) entered through the border with the Republic of Moldova.

Exiting Romanian were 105,728 persons, of whom 26,632 Ukrainian citizens (14% increase).

Since the start of the Ukrainian crisis and until March 6, 00:00 hrs, at the national level, 261,445 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 182,312 exited Romania.
