PM's Control Corps: PICCJ notified on possible criminal offenses at Electrocentrale Bucharest SA

The Prime Minister's Control Corps announces that, following check-ups conducted at the thermal power producer Electrocentrale Bucharest SA, it decided to notify the Prosecutor's Office with the High Court of Cassation and Justice (PICCJ) to investigate possible criminal offenses.

 

The PM's Control Corps carried out a check-up at the Electrocentrale Bucuresti SA (ELCEN SA), aimed at verifying the observance of the legal provisions in respect to the company's organisation and operation in the period January 1, 2009 - December 31, 2014, the control period having been extended until 2015 in regards to acts or operations the consequences of which occurred after December 31, 2014, according to the Summary of the control report, released on the control.gov.ro website on Monday.

 

Following the control, it was decided that this report be sent to Electrocentrale Bucharest SA so as to implement the measures proposed by the PM's Control Corps, the Energy Ministry, the Court of Accounts, the National Agency for Public Procurements, the Government's Secretariat General, as notification, the Prime Minister's Chancellery, as notification, and the Prosecutor's Office with the High Court of Cassation and Justice, for investigating the possible criminal offenses.
