Romanian Simona Halep easily advanced to the third round of the grass-court Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon after defeating on Thursday Italian Francesca Schiavone 6-1, 6-1 in 65 minutes.
Halep secured a 80,000-GBP cheque and 130 WTA points for this win.
