Gold, silver medals for Romanian students in Junior Balkan Informatics Olympiad

Two gold medals and two silvers is the prize harvested by the national informatics team (juniors) at the 10th edition of the Junior Balkan Informatics Olympiad unfolded 17 through 22 September in Skopje (Macedonia), which gathered 36 competitors from 9 countries. According to a release by the National Education and Scientific Research Ministry (MENCS) sent on Friday to Agerpres, the gold medals were secured by Maria Alexa Tudose (8th grade with the 'Ion Luca Caragiale' National College of Ploiesti) and Alexandra Maria Udristoiu (8th grade, too with the 'Fratii Buzesti" National College of Craiova), a bronze winner in last year's edition.

The silver medals were grabbed by Cella Florescu (8th grade with the 'Tudor Vianu' National Informatics College of Bucharest) and Adrian Emanuel Dicu (also 8th grade with the Fratii Buzesti' National College of Craiova).
