Children need emotional warmth to grow nicely, Premier Sorin Grindeanu said in a message delivered on the International Children's Day, adding that he wants Romania to have a quality education system that stimulates value.

"Today, on the International Children's Day, I think it's a good time to reflect on the future of our children seen through the lens of our present actions. Children need emotional warmth to grow nicely, but they also need us to act responsibly, in order to provide them with the comforts that are normal for a European country and with equal opportunities as regards access to education and health care. I want a quality education system for Romania's children, a system that stimulates value, I want measures in place to prevent school dropout, conditions for our children to grow up healthy and proud of the country where they were born. Let's cherish our children today and try each and every day to make their childhood as beautiful as possible, thinking of what's best for them and for their future! Many happy returns to all the children in Romania and the diaspora! Many happy returns to the children all over the world!'' is the Prime Minister's message on the International Children's Day.
