The conclusions of the first week of governance, as well as the calendar for the period ahead will be discussed on Monday, at a ruling coalition meeting, Social Democratic Party (PSD) Chairman Liviu Dragnea announced on Thursday. "On Monday, we'll have a coalition meeting, where the prime minister and Cabinet members, to be packed by Mr Tudose, are invited to attend as guests, to discuss after the first week of governance what their conclusions are and what the calendar of actions for the period ahead is," Dragnea said Parliament Palace.

He mentioned that the meeting will take place in the first half of the day. In respect to the Government decision to block central administration hiring, Dragnea believes that the floodgate was left open in this area. "Yes, because many people have been hired, although we had established, as a strategic decision at the beginning of governance in January, that 10 percent of public spending cuts will take place. And it seems that the hiring floodgate was left open in the central administration and that is not all right," the PSD leader said.

According to him, the situation isn't the same in the local administration. "In my opinion, this is not the case with the local administrations; they will have the freedom within budget limits. The central administration is an entirely different thing," Dragnea said.
