Three Romanians reported dead in road accident in Hungary

Three Romanian nationals were killed and six were injured in a road accident in Hungary on Tuesday, according to Romania's Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE).

"Romania's Consulate General in Gyula is looking into the accident that occurred on July 25 in the morning and it has taken the necessary steps with the local authorities to get additional information," says MAE.

Available information, according to MAE, indicates that three Romanian nationals died and six more were injured, who were rushed to nearby hospitals.

All the nine people were in a bus coming to Romania. The circumstances of the accident have not been clarified yet, says MAE.

A mobile team including the head of the consular office moved to the scene to provide assistance.

Romania's Consulate General in Gyula is said to be monitoring the case as a priority, keeping in touch with the local authorities and ready to provide consular assistance upon request, adds MAE.
