The second seeded tennis duo of Romanian Horia Tecau and Dutchman Jean-Julien Rojer on Friday won the doubles title of the Winston-Salem Open (North Carolina), featuring $ 664,825 in total prize money, as they defeated the team Julio Peralta (Chile) / Horacio Zeballos (Argentina) 6-3, 6-4 in 66 minutes.
The winners secured $ 36,630 in prize money and 250 ATP points. This is Horia Tecau's 50th career doubles final and the third title he claims this year together with his long-standing partner Rojer after Geneva and Dubai.
Tecau, 32, has won 32 doubles and is ranked No. 28 in the world. The team won 14 titles overall.
