Prime Minister Mihai Tudose said on Friday that his relationship with President Klaus Iohannis is a proper institutional one. "I've told you, we have a proper institutional relationship," Tudose said on Friday at the end of a meeting of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) National Executive Committee (CExN).
The prime minister responded after being asked if he shares the opinion of PSD national leader Liviu Dragnea that the head of state is politically engaged by his actions. Dragnea said Friday he does not want to go to the Cotroceni Presidential Palace until after the next presidential election. "It is no longer a whim, but a fact that at this time I no longer believe in the political non-involvement of President Iohannis," Dragnea said.
