Real estate sales in the first ten months of this year stood at 512,935 units, with the bulk of the deals - 65,963 in Bucharest, the National Cadastre and Property Advertising Agency said in a release on Monday.
In October 2017 nationwide building sales amounted to 61,863.
Most building sales over the entire 10-month reporting period were registered in Bucharest - 65,963; Cluj - 34,802 and Ilfov - 30,022.
At the opposite end the counties with the fewest building sales in the same period were Teleorman - 3,756; Salaj - 3,331 and Caras-Severin - 3,014.
In October 2017 Bucharest saw most building sale transactions - 8,847.
The counties with the most sales of agricultural land in the first ten months of this year are Timis - 7,138, Arad - 6,283 and Dolj - 5.985.
