President Klaus Iohannis asked Parliament to reexamine the law on the approval of GEO 32/2015 on setting up Forests Guards.
In his reexamination request submitted on Friday to the Speaker of the Senate, Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, the head of the state said that the law on the approval of GEO 32/2015 on setting up Forests Guards regulates the legal status of these public institutions under the subordination of the central public authority, which are responsible for the silviculture sector, and also the status of their staff.
He also reminded that the Constitutional Court of Romania found the provisions of this law unconstitutional.
