The coffin with the body of late King Mihai I was laid at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Lausanne.
According to the romaniaregala.ro website, at 14:00, a ceremony was held, in the presence of Princesses Elena and Sofia, as well as Mr Alexander Philips Nixon. Metropolitan bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan Church of Central and Eastern Europe, His Holiness Iosif, parish priest Alexandre Yossifidis and a group of six priests held the service in Romanian, French and Greek. Attending the ceremony were the nuns who are constantly watching on King Mihai's body, until the departure to Romania.
The coffin will remain at the Greek Orthodox Church until Tuesday at 14:00, and it will be brought to Romania on Wednesday.
