Antibiotice, to open subsidiaries in Republic of Moldova and Ukraine

The Antibiotice company will set up subsidiaries in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, according to a decision adopted by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, reads a document published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) website.

The company's shares have dropped by 0.12 percent since the beginning of the year, and by 1.48 percent since the beginning of the month.

Antibiotice Iasi recorded a net profit of over 33.5 million lei last year, up 1.1 percent as compared to 2016.

"Antibiotice registers a rise in sales in pharmacies and hospitals by 5.3 percent as compared to 2016. The retail pharmacies segment is going up by 5.7 percent as compared to 2016, from 223.6 million lei to 236.3 million lei, while the Hospitals segment records a 4 percent increase, from 76.5 million in 2016 to 79.5 million in 2017," BVB's website informs.
