Wholesale turnover up 6.8 pct as gross series, in Q1 of 2018

The wholesale turnover (excluding trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles), in nominal terms, increased in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the similar period of 2017, both as gross series by 6.8 percent and as series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality by 7.0 percent, according to the data released on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS). 

In March 2018 compared to March 2017, the wholesale turnover, as gross series, in nominal terms, increased by 2.3 percent. 

As series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality, in nominal terms, March's wholesale turnover increased overall by 3.7 percent against March 2017. 

The wholesale turnover, as gross series, in nominal terms, increased by 24.1 percent in March 2018 compared to the previous month. 

In March 2018 compared to the previous month, in nominal terms, the wholesale turnover expressed as workday and seasonally adjusted series increased overall by 0.8 percent.
