Industrial production prices for both the domestic and foreign market increased by 5.9 percent in August 2018 compared to August 2017, with the highest jump in the energy industry, namely 14.17 percent, according to the data published on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Compared to August 2017, industrial production prices went up 14.17 percent in the energy industry, 5.86 in the intermediate goods industry, 2.46 percent in the durable goods industry, 2.22 percent in the consumers goods industry and 1.45 percent in the capital goods industry.
In August 2018, industrial production prices for both the domestic and foreign market increased by 0.6 percent compared to July 2018.
Compared to July 2018, by large industrial categories, the most significant growth was recorded in the energy industry by 2.56 percent, the intermediate goods industry (+0.21 percent), the capital goods industry (+0.03 percent), but a decline was recorded in the durable goods industry (-0.56 percent).
