President of Romanian Medical Doctors Association in Italy and two researchers, decorated by President Iohannis

President Klaus Iohannis awarded the Order "Sanitary merit", in the rank of Knight to Gheorghe Cerin, physician, Romanian Medical Doctors Association in Italy, the Presidential Administration informs. 

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the award was bestowed "for important contribution to medical research, for consolidating the Romanian-Italian medical collaboration as well as for the activity carried out in view of strengthening relations within the Romanian community in the Italian Republic."

The president also awarded the Order "Cultural Merit" in the rank of Knight, the H category - "Scientific Research" to Dana Branzei, researcher at "Istituto FIRC di Oncologia Molecolare" in Milan and to Catalina Oana Curceanu, physicist - "Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati dell'Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare", for the significant contribution to exact sciences, who have climbed the ladder, through dedication and professionalism to the elite of the relevant international research.
