National leader of the opposition National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban said on Wednesday that PNL have prepared a bill to transpose the Venice Commission's recommendations to Romania's laws of justice.

We have a bill that translates the recommendations of the Venice Commission into the laws of justice. Also, with regard to the debate in Parliament of Ordinance 90 and Ordinance 92, we have prepared amendments that bring things back within a constitutional framework and also take into account the recommendations of the Venice Commission," Orban said after consultations with President Klaus Iohannis by the PNL team at the Cotroceni Palace.

At the same time, Orban specified that PNL can sit down with everyone to try to develop some laws of justice "that satisfy the real needs of the Romanian society."

"As far as we are concerned, we sit down with everyone to try to draft some laws of justice, a criminal code and a code criminal procedure that really satisfy the real needs of Romanian society," Orban said.
