PM Dancila meets delegation of Japanese businessmen, presents advantages of Romanian investment environment

Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Tuesday met with a delegation of Japanese businessmen, who are paying a visit to Romania as part of a tournament in the region of the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO), in which context she presented the advantages offered by the Romanian investment climate.

According to a press release of the Government, the delegation includes representatives of 25 prestigious Japanese companies, specialized in various fields of activity, such as finances, trade, infrastructure, computer science and communications, food industry, tourism.

"During the meeting, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila showed the advantages of the Romanian investment milieu, inviting the companies participating in the delegation to join the important Japanese community already present in Romania. She highlighted the fact that Japan is the main Asian investor in Romania and that the Japanese companies operating in our country contribute 10 per cent to the Romanian exports to the European Union," reads the abovementioned release.
