The social assistance system in Bucharest and the new projects initiated in this field by the current administration were on the agenda of discussions in Dublin carried out by General Mayor Gabriela Firea with Lord Mayor Nial Ring, at the latter's official residence.
During these talks, Gabriela Firea explained to her Irish counterpart how the social assistance system works in Bucharest, informing him about the new projects initiated in this field, among which financial aid for persons with disabilities, the "Materna" vouchers, the municipality informed in a press release on Monday.
Lord Mayor Nial Ring talked about the special attention granted by the Dublin municipality to disadvantages minorities and, especially, to the persons addicted to alcohol, drugs or medicines, for whom there are multiple assistance programmes going on.
