European social partners adopt new work program on European Social Dialogue for 2019-2021

The European social partners have adopted the new work program on the European Social Dialogue for 2019-2021 at the Joint Conference on promoting and reinforcing social dialogue in the EU, organized in Brussels on Wednesday, informs the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice in a release for AGERPRES.

Minister of Labor and Social Justice, Marius Budai, participated in the event as the representative of the Romanian Presidency at the EU Council.

At the meeting organized by the European Confederation of Trade Unions (ETUC), the European Business Confederation, the European Center of Employers and Enterprises Providing Public Services and Services of General Interest (CEEP) and the European Association of Craft and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEunited), the European Commission was represented by the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Inclusion and Mobility, Marianne Thyssen.

The debates focused on discussing the priorities of the work program 2019-2021, such as digitization and improving the performance of labor markets and social systems.
