Minister for Romanians Abroad Natalia Intotero on Monday had a meeting with Israeli Ambassador in Bucharest David Saranga, having discussed, among others, the situation of the Romanian community in the Israeli State.

The Ambassador hailed the launch of the new edition of the ARC camp programme, which will have 3,000 participants this year, reads a release of the Ministry for Romanians Abroad (MRP) sent to AGERPRES.

In this context, the foreign diplomat said he will support the promotion of this project among the young Romanians living in Israel, in order to ensure a high representativeness of the Romanian community in the camps to be established in four Romanian counties, specifies the same source.

"The Romanian and Israeli sides evoked the special bilateral relation existing between the two countries and also the facilitation of the exchange of good practices for the programmes and projects meant for the members of the Romanian and Israeli communities outside the Romanian and Israeli borders, which are designed to help them preserve their ethnic, cultural and linguistic identity," reads the MRP release
