The candidate of the PNL-USR-PLUS electoral alliance for the position of mayor of Bistrita, the liberal Ioan Turc, wants to connect the administration with the citizens through a mobile application that will allow the people of Bistrita to express their opinion in in connection with major investment projects or on the allocation of funds from the budget.
On Tuesday evening, Ioan Turc presented his electoral program, accompanied by the alliance partners, the PNL-USR-PLUS candidate for the leadership of the Bistrita-Nasaud County Council, the former prefect Stelian Dolha, and the party colleagues on the list of proposals for Bistrita Local Council.
Turc considers that the digitalization of the local administration must be one of the basic projects of the future mayor of Bistrita and proposes the creation of a mobile application through which the citizens can even vote to support certain projects.
"The administration must be efficient and modernized through digitalisation. The performance of the administration is closely linked to the level of people's satisfaction with public policies, to people's confidence that local budget money is spent efficiently and transparently, that all projects are designed and implemented for them. (...) Part of the local budget will be made available to the people of Bistrita, they will decide how the money will be spent by voting, through the mobile phone application", said Turc.
The candidate of the PNL-USR-PLUS electoral alliance also promises to extend the working hours of the mayor's office, from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, but also to create "neighborhood centers for relations with citizens", where the employees of the mayor's office will take over the problems of the people of Bistrita or the requests for documents.
