Australian Open men's doubles: Tecau - Melo dash to victory less than 15 min into play

The pairing of Romanian Horia Tecau and Brazilian Marcelo Melo rolled into the second round of the Australian Open men's doubles after just 14 minutes of play, following the forfeit of their opponents, all-Serbian duo Filip Krajinovic/Dusan Lajovic, on Thursday, in Melbourne, according to AGERPRES.

The match ended at 40-0 in the Serbians' service game, after Tecau and Melo had won the first three games, the tournament website states.

In the second round, 7th seeded Tecau and Melo will face the pair of Moldavian Radu Albot and British Daniel Evans, who defeated the pairing Andres Molteni (Argentina)/ Hugo Nys (Monaco) 6 - 2, 6 - 3 in the first round.

Tecau and his partner secured a check for 45,000 AU dollars and 90 ATP doubles points.
