Romania counts for 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with Omicron variant

Two new cases with the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus were confirmed on Friday in Romania, bringing the number of these cases to 13, the Health Ministry (MS) announced.

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, it is about a 45-year-old woman, from Constanta County, with a history of travel to South Africa. She is vaccinated with the full scheme, is in isolation, and her health is good.

The second person is a 29-year-old man from Ilfov County, with a history of travel to Zanzibar. This person too is in isolation, with good health, unvaccinated, says MS.
