Senate President and Liberal leader Florin Citu declared today that the only legislative project regarding the digital COVID certificate currently in parliamentary procedure is the one submitted by himself, pointing out that there is no other regulatory act on this subject and the topic was not on the agenda of the meeting of the joint Standing Bureaus of the two legislative Chambers.
"The draft is in Parliament, the one submitted by me is currently going through Parliament. Otherwise, it does not exist," Citu said when asked what happened to the governing coalition's project on the green COVID pass.
Chairman of the Social Democratic Party Marcel Ciolacu previously stated that a law to introduce the green COVID pass is tardy at this time.
