As many as 16,688 people have received the coronavirus jab with either the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson&Johnson vaccine in the past 24 hours, the National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) informs.
As many as 2,739 people were given the first shot, 3,464 received the second shot, and 10,485 the third booster dose.
Of the total number of administered doses, 305 were Pfizer Pediatric, Agerpres.ro informs.
According to CNCAV, since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, on December 27, 2020, 16,450,482 doses of vaccine were administered to 8,072,187 people, 7,980,034 receiving the complete schedule and 2,388,599 being immunized with the third dose.
In the last 24 hours, there have been eight side effect occurrences, four local and four whole-body reactions.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, there have been 19,892 adverse reactions to COVID vaccines, 2,179 local and 17,713 whole-body reactions.
