Rafila: We recommend wearing mask in crowded open spaces, on public transport, hospitals and schools

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, made some recommendations on Tuesday to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections after lifting restrictions, including wearing a protective mask in crowded open spaces, public transport, but also in enclosed spaces, including toilets and schools.

In the context of lifting the restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic starting Tuesday night, the health minister made, in a press conference, some recommendations:

* wearing a protective mask in crowded open spaces - in markets or in extremely crowded areas, on public transport, in enclosed spaces, including toilets, Agerpres.ro informs.

* avoidance of crowded spaces, whether closed or open, should be considered;

* hand washing, the use of an antiseptic remain valid and prevent not only the infection with the new coronavirus;

* public transport and public interest units must be cleaned and disinfected periodically;

* in the case of people with symptoms - testing, presentation to the family doctor and, in the case of a positive test, presentation to an assessment center or even to the emergency unit, in case of severe symptoms, to receive specific antiviral treatment.
