The Polytechnic University of Timisoara (UPT) will host between November 10-11 the 15th edition of the International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications ISETC 2022, which will bring together members from academia and industry, to present their achievements in the field, shows a UPT press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
The symposium is organized by the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies of UPT, in collaboration with the Military Technical Academy, the Association of Electronic Engineers in Timisoara, with the support of the IEEE and the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences.
The festive opening of the event will be followed by a workshop, Industry 4.0, during which there will be presentations of technical innovations and applied research solutions from important players in the industry, on various topics.
The representatives of the partner companies will contribute to the workshop sessions with presentations focused mainly on the status of the latest technologies in electronics and telecommunications, applied research and innovative industrial and production solutions, key areas of development and future trends.
Also during the festivities, the ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of UPT to Professor Pavol Bauer, from Technical University DELFT, Holland, will take place.
Next, during the two days of the symposium, participants from academia and industry will present contributions in the fields of: Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision; Instrumentation and Measurement; Open Education, Open Science and Emerging Technologies; Power Electronics; Signal Processing; Telecommunications.AGERPRES
