Bucharest stock market opens higher on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's trading session with almost all indices on the rise and 30 minutes into business, the turnover stood at 2.17 million RON (441,223 euros), told Agerpres.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, went up 0.30 percent, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 37 shares rose 0.28 percent.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers opened 0.29 percent up, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK advanced 0.24 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies picked up 0.45 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.14 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market was down 0.05 percent.

According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were Transgaz (+2.15 percent), Romgaz (+1.11 percent) and Aquila Part Prod Com (+1.06 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Romcarbon (-4.76 percent), Alumil Rom Industry (-1.46 percent), and Conpet (-1.45 percent).
