The Romanian wine sector will be promoted in the online environment through some already existing platforms, which are to be updated and modernized, with the conclusion of the collaboration protocol between the National Office of Vine and Wine Products (ONVPV), an institution subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR), and Iulian Barbuceanu, the author of the independent project to promote this sector called "Romanian Wine Atlas."

"The purpose of the Protocol is to jointly promote the Romanian wine sector to the general public in the country and abroad in the online environment through some already existing platforms, which will be updated and modernized: www.onvpv.ro in Romanian and English, namely www.atlasulvinului.ro in Romanian and www.wineguideromania.com in English," a ONVPC press release sent on Wednesday shows.

A major benefit of the partnership is the creation of an online cartographic database made available free of charge to the general public and specialists, at global level, with over 200 precision and thematic wine maps, constantly updated within the partnership.

The objective of the partnership project is to support the efforts and promote the Romanian wine community, which online platforms provide for numerous resources for free.
