Prime Minister Ciolacu begins visit to Berlin

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu began his working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on Tuesday.

The Head of Government laid a wreath at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial.

Along with the prime minister, the ministers accompanying him participated in the ceremony: the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminita Odobescu, the Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Radu Oprea, the Minister of Defense, Angel Tilvar, as well as the deputy Ovidiu Gant, member of the Parliamentary Group of National Minorities, MEP Victor Negrescu, honorary advisor to the Prime Minister, representatives of the Prime Minister's Chancellery.

Continuing the schedule of the visit, the Prime Minister will be received by Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the headquarters of the Federal Chancellery, where there will be a one-on-one meeting of the two high dignitaries, followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations and a joint press conference.

During Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Ciolacu will meet with representatives of the Romanian community in Germany.

The head of the Executive from Bucharest arrived in Berlin on Tuesday morning, after a flight that had a stopover in Vienna.AGERPRES
