Libra Internet Bank logged a net profit of 160.7 million RON in the first half of 2023, up 45.9 pct compared to the same period in 2022, the bank announced on Thursday.
Total net assets reached 10.3 billion RON after the first six months of this year, a value 6 pct higher than at the end of 2022, agerpres reports.
The net loan portfolio of Libra Internet Bank increased by 7.5 pct in the first semester of 2023 and reached the level of 6.4 billion RON.
Regarding the financed fields, the biggest increases were recorded for agribusiness (+20 pct) and microfinancing (+15 pct), two of the niches in which the bank has constantly specialized in recent years. Also in the first half of 2023, the rate of non-performing loans in Libra Internet Bank's portfolio stood at 1.6 pct, in the conditions where the market average was 2.7 pct, on March 31, 2023.
Libra Internet Bank was established in 1996 in Bucharest. The bank has specialized in offering products and services dedicated to liberal professions and Real Estate and Agribusiness companies. Libra Internet Bank counts for 55 branches.
