Romania, first place in the all-nations ranking at Central European Olympiad in Informatics 2023

Romania finished first in the all-nations ranking at the Central European Olympiad in Informatics 2023 (CEOI 2023), held in Magdeburg, Germany.

According to the Ministry of Education, Romania leads the world ranking with the following results:

* 1st place, absolute winner and gold medal - Luca Perju Verzotti, from Tudor Vianu National College of Computer Science, Bucharest

* 3rd place and gold medal - Alexandru Raul Todoran, from the Aurel Vlaicu High School, Orastie

* silver medal - Andrei Robert Ion, from the International Computer High School of Bucharest (ICHB), Bucharest

* bronze medal - Alexandru Luchianov, from the International Computer High School of Bucharest (ICHB), Bucharest.

Team leader is Prof. Petru Simion Oprita from the 'Regina Maria' High School in Dorohoi, and deputy leader - Bicsi Lucian from Bucharest University, Faculty of Mathematics.

''Congratulations to the students and teachers who trained them! Gratitude to all those who support performance in education!,', is the message sent Thursday on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Education.
