Romanian, Ukrainian prime ministers sign declaration on strengthening cooperation in ensuring reliable transit of goods

Romanian prime minister Marcel Ciolacu and visiting Ukrainian prime minister Denys Shmyhal, signed on Friday in Bucharest a political declaration on strengthening bilateral cooperation in ensuring reliable transit of goods from Ukraine.

Ciolacu and Shmyhal also initialled two agreements on mutual recognition of education documents and the opening of a new border crossing point between the two countries, in northern Sighetu Marmatiei and Bila Tserkva, respectively, agerpres reports.

The inking ceremony, held at Victoria Palace of government, marks "consolidation and progress in bilateral relations between Romania and Ukraine," government spokesman Mihai Constantin said.
