Two Nepalese are among the patients who were injured in the Crevedia fire and who will be transferred to hospitals abroad, says the Health minister, Alexandru Rafila.

"There are two Nepalese. They will both be transferred. (...) They were probably working there. (...) They are on the list of those who will be transferred, starting today," said Rafila, on Sunday, during a press conference.

According to him, the two Nepalese are the only foreign citizens who were affected by the explosions in Crevedia. Both are currently hospitalized at Bagdasar-Arseni Hospital, and one of them was not identified in the first instance.

Physician Gabriel Diaconu stated during the same press conference that at this moment there are no doubts about the identity of any person affected by the explosions in Crevedia, even if some patients did not have identity documents or could not be identified initially due to injuries.

"We invested a lot of time in the first 12-18 hours to be absolutely sure that every patient arriving at the hospital is correctly identified, that we have contacts with the relatives - we have them at this moment, at least two or three people, who are not Romanian nationality and for which we are making efforts and diligence on the social assistance side, to have at least another point, so that we can communicate with their families," he said.
