Hourly labor cost increases by 8.08%, in Q2 2023

The hourly labor cost in adjusted form (according to the number of working days) recorded, in the second quarter of 2023, a growth rate of 8.08%, compared to the previous quarter, and 14.38% compared to the same period of 2022, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) informs in a press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.

Compared to the first quarter of 2023, the hourly labor cost (adjusted for the number of working days) increased in all economic activities, agerpres reports.

Compared to the previous quarter, the component of direct expenses (salaries) with the labor force increased by 8.07%, and that of indirect expenses (non-salaries) by 8.32%.

And compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the hourly labor cost (adjusted for the number of working days) increased in all economic activities.

Compared to the same quarter of 2022, the component of direct expenses (salary) with the labor force increased in the second quarter of 2023 by 14.38%, and the component of indirect expenses (non-salary) by 14.34%.
