Aircraft with 112 passengers on board make emergency landing at Henri Coanda Airport

An aircraft belonging to the Tailwind Airlines company requested, on Friday morning, an emergency landing at the Henri Coanda International Airport Bucharest (AIHCB), because it signaled the detection of possible technical problems (fuel leaks), the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) informs.

The aircraft had 112 passengers on board and was traveling Antalya - Prague, agerpres reports.

"Immediately, the emergency response was formed at the airport, consisting of firefighters and ambulances, under the coordination of the deputy commander of the AIHCB. At 07:28, the plane landed safely and will continue its flight to Prague, after the technical checks. Air traffic at the airport took place under normal conditions, without any problems, thanks to the professionals of the Bucharest Airports National Company, whose expertise and efficiency in the field are recognized internationally by all the major air operators," CNAB specifies.
