Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Tuesday's session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session in decline, with transactions of 6.08 million lei (1.22 million euros), carried out in the first half hour after the start of operations.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, depreciated by 0.47%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from BVB, opened down by 0.48%, agerpres reports.

Also, the extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 0.43%, while the mutual fund yield benchmark BET-BK lost 0.34 % of value.

The BET-FI index of SIFs depreciated by 0.54%, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down by 0.55%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.01%.

According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Sphera Franchise Group (+2.76%), Romcarbon (+1.92%) and SSIF BRK Financial Group (+1.31%).

On the other hand, the shares of Patria Bank (-2.38%), Alumil Rom Industry (-1.91%) and TTS (-1.83%) were in decline.
