Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos on Friday said in northwestern Zalau that he hopes the mayors to be elected in this summer will get involved alongside the county cadaster offices in finalising the official registering of the land for all the area of the communes they'll represent.
"We have in mind that after the local elections, when we'll have the new mayors at the beginning of their tenure, considering that we also have the money at the Cadaster Agency and the necessary staff - because we have approved a few weeks ago some 600 additional positions there, at the National Cadaster Agency, we hope to find the mayors to be ready to commit themselves together with the county cadaster offices to finalise this activity at the level of the entire commune, because if we only cover pieces, then we have troubles," the Premier said, in a press statement.
Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos was present on Friday in Zalau, in a working visit, together with Deputy Prime Minister Vasile Dincu, the two officials having meetings with local authorities and MPs of the Salaj County.
